This privacy policy covers Simfony’s collection and treatment of information and data collected when you visit Simfony’s Websites or use Simfony Services.




1.a. “Simfony” means the entity Simfony Mobile S.R.L..

1.b. “Services” means the any and all services and hosted software applications provided by Simfony, including but not limited to, the Simfony IoT Platform, Simfony SIM cellular connectivity, Simfony website and any other software services offered by Simfony.

1.c. “User” means yourself and any entities you represent.

1.d. “Products” means both the physical products produced and sold by Simfony, and the firmware, provided by Simfony, that is programmed onto certain of these physical products.

1.e. “Third Party Products” – includes but is not limited to applications, websites, APIs, software, or hardware that interacts with, uses or connects to any Simfony Products or Services.

1.f. “Website(s)” means any web domains owned, operated, branded or co-branded by Simfony.



2.a. Simfony collects certain data from visitors in order to improve and enhance our User’s experiences. This data is collected via the following methods:

2.a.1. Simfony, like many other websites, will store session information (often called “Cookies”) in your browser that will help Simfony identify information such as browsing activity, IP addresses and page view order. User does have the option to not use these Cookies, as the majority of browsers help you to prevent Cookies if you want to. Simfony recommends you keep Cookies active as it will provide a better User experience.

2.a.2 When User visits Simfony Websites, Simfony web servers automatically log typical website analytic data from visitors to our site. This data, which may include details such as browser type, site visit length, IP addresses and referral URL, is used for systems administration and generally improving customer experience.

2.a.3 Simfony sees and logs non-personally identifiable data when User uses Simfony Services. This data is logged in our system and stored on Third-Party servers. The only identifiable information this data is connected to will be the account details User supplied when creating User account.

2.b. Information User provides

2.b.1 When User creates an account with Simfony, User provides us with data that includes an email address and password. Simfony may also give you the option to voluntarily share other data with us that is connected to your account. If any of these details change, User may update own account at any time, modify, correct or delete account details.

2.b.2 If User is using Simfony to connect a Product to the Simfony Cloud, User will be required to identify a network and corresponding network password. This information exists only locally, and Simfony does not have access to it.

2.b.3 User may actively provide payment details when purchasing Products from Simfony. No employees of Simfony have access to the credit card details associated with these purchases.

2.c. Information provided by third parties

2.c.1 At times Simfony may collect information from Third-Parties that use our Services or Products. They may provide us with Personal or Anonymous Data that we will use to continue to improve our Services and Products.



3.a. The data referenced in this Privacy Policy is primarily used by Simfony to improve, troubleshoot and enhance Products, Websites and Services.

3.b. Email addresses and any other information supplied by User may also be used by Simfony to respond to emails, phone calls and requests. In addition Simfony may use the data that identifies the Product IDs associated with User’s account to provide information and technical assistance to User. For example, User’s email address and device details may be used to respond to a technical support question that User sends to Simfony.

3.c. Simfony may collect and create anonymous data by excluding personally identifiable information. Simfony reserves the right to use Anonymous Data for any purpose and disclose Anonymous Data to third parties at its sole discretion.



4.a. Simfony may at some point have a third-party process or analyze some of the data we have collected.

4.b. When appropriate, Simfony may share data with entities and persons who are actively doing business with Simfony and have entered into a contract with Simfony (such as companies that have created “Powered by Simfony”products). A company of this sort will have access to the data generated by individuals who are users of the product created and sold by Simfony.

4.c. Simfony may share aggregated or anonymous data publicly or as described above in section 3.c.

4.d. Simfony will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Simfony if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:

4.d.1 Meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.

4.d.2 Enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations.

4.d.3 Detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues.

4.d.4 Protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Simfony, our users or the public as required or permitted by law.

4.e. If another company acquires Simfony or our assets via a merger, acquisition or sale, that company will possess the Personal Data collected by Simfony and will assume the rights and obligations regarding your Personal Data as described in this Privacy Policy. In this event Simfony will give User prior notification via email or by putting a prominent notice on our site before User’s personal data is transferred.



5.a. Third-Parties may on occasion offer products or services that interact with Simfony. Simfony will encourage these Third-Parties to follow a similar privacy policy as this one, but you acknowledge and agree that Simfony is not responsible for the privacy policies of others.

5.b. Simfony will not intentionally gather information from children under the age of 13.

5.c. Simfony reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any point without prior notification and approval. Continued use of the Websites and Services once these changes are announced will confirm User’s approval of and agreement to any and all changes.
